What is HD Radio?

HD Radio technology allows KAZU to add up to two additional audio channels to the main analog signal. To listen you will need to buy an HD-compatible radio, available at any electronics or car stereo retailer. Unlike satellite radio or some webcasting services there is no monthly fee.

KAZU's Contributor List Policy
Individuals are 90.3 KAZU's single most important source of support, and 90.3 KAZU's relationship with its contributors is the highest expression of our mutual commitment to 90.3 KAZU's public service broadcasting.

To the extent that 90.3 KAZU is effective in raising funds by mail, via its Web site, and through other Development initiatives it is able to limit the amount of time spent fundraising on air.  


List Confidentiality
90.3 KAZU does not rent or sell its contributor list and associated data to any organization.  Nor does it exchange its contributor list and associated data with any organization.

90.3 KAZU will not exchange its contributor list and associated data with any political party, candidate for political office, or advocacy organizations.

In order to fulfill its obligations to members, 90.3 KAZU does provide contributor data consisting of name, address, phone number and e-mail address to selected third parties who will fulfill premiums (i.e., pledge drive "thank you gifts") not provided directly by the station or its fulfillment agents, Visability, Inc. and Peak Fulfillment, Inc, both of Lyons, CO.  Contributors and prospective contributors are urged to weigh privacy concerns when opting for premiums that will be fulfilled by third parties.


Using Names from Other Organizations:
In order to build our base of support, 90.3 KAZU may rent or purchase lists from other organizations to reach prospective contributors.

KAZU will not:
-rent or purchase lists from political parties,  candidates for political office, or advocacy organizations;
-rent lists from organizations where such an association may harm the goodwill and trust between 90.3 KAZU and its contributors.

Complying with Accepted Standards:
KAZU adheres to the ethical guidelines of the Direct Marketing Association, including their Privacy Promise to consumers, their Guides for Ethical Business Practice, and their Guidelines for List Practices.
