♣♣♣ FUN FOR SENIORS & OTHERS ♣♣♣

GENTLE YOGA: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays -- 10:00am - 11:30am

Slow, gentle movement and breathing with an emphasis on maintaining physical and mental balance. Beginners are welcome. Taught by instructors from the Yoga For All Movement.

LINE DANCING: Tuesdays, Wednesdays (Beginner Class) & Thursdays -- 9:30am -10:30am

Line dancing isn’t just country western! Jazz, waltz and contemporary music are just some of the genres you will kick up your heels to in this ongoing class. No partner needed!

AWAKEN TO TAI CHI & QI GONG: Tuesdays and Fridays -- 11:00am - 12:15pm

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise system benefiting the internal organs and joints, circulation and breathing. Practice restores and tunes agility, balance, flexibility, endurance, focus, power and zest.

BOOMER QI GONG (Ages 45 & Over): Thursdays -- 1:30pm - 2:30pm

Wang Ji Wu’s Sixteen Exercises for Health and Strength Training is a Qi Gong set which enhances the circulatory system as well as the body’s joints, tendons, muscles and ligaments as they are moved through their full range of motion.

LIVING TO TELL THE TALES: MEMOIR WRITING CLASS: Mondays -- 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Local Seniors write and share memoirs taught by Kathryn Cowan, formerly memoirs instructor at Cabrillo College.

BOOK CLUB: First Tuesday of every month -- 10:30am - 11:30am

Meet for an hour (or so) to discuss current book selections and future books. Led by Irma Andrews. Join us on Zoom at 10:30am on Tuesday, July 7th to discuss a book of your choice!

WALKING ADVENTURE GROUP: Thursdays -- 10:45 - 11:45am

While we can’t all walk together at this time, we can still meet virtually! Email a photo or video confirmation to earn WAG mile credits!

EXERCISE CLASS

Gentle exercises are perfect for older adults wanting to increase circulation and flexibility.

The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County is offering a grocery shopping program for low-income Seniors 60 & Older Adults with medical conditions. Visit their website to learn more or call the Grocery Shopper Hotline at (831) 427-3435.

*** Senior Tech Support ***

Schedule a virtual tech support with a Youth SERVE volunteer! Volunteers will focus on helping seniors sign up for online services such as grocery and medication deliveries, as well as using technology to stay in contact with loved ones.
