Alzheimers Association of Northern California for the Salinas Area

The Alzheimer’s Association: Salinas Caregiver Support Group Meeting via Video Chat and Telephone

If a family member has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia, a caregiver support group can offer you an opportunity to find out more about available community resources, learn from others going through similar experiences, and build a support system.

This group for Residents in the Salinas Area normally meets on the first Wednesday of each month. Open to family members. No fee. Meetings are led by a trained facilitator and will meet by video chat and telephone until further notice. The current Support-Group Meeting will take place via Video Chat as per the below-listed schedule.

The Alzheimer’s Association offers support groups for caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer’s and others dealing with the disease. All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all support groups will be hosted via phone or video conference instead of in-person. Meeting schedules will be assessed on a month-to-month basis.
