Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History’s Virtual Museum to You Program

The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History continues with its wildly popular Virtual “Museum to You Program”!!!

Even though it officially reopened its doors on Monday, June 29th, The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History continues to focus on learning and intellectual engagement through its popular Social-Distance Learning Program, “Museum to You” .

For several weeks the museum has offered virtual versions of popular, interactive programming hosted by museum staff and educators. The following exceptional upcoming programs are a part of this Series:

WEDNESDAY, JULY 1ST:
“Create with Us: Upcycled Planter” at 1:00pm
… Tune in on YouTube to learn how to make an upcycled planter! This is a family-friendly craft.

FRIDAY, JULY 3RD:
“Bug Out with Bree: Buggin’ Out (with Beetles)” at 12:00 noon
… Beetles are a special group of insects. Join us on YouTube as we discuss what makes them unique, from their anatomy to the way they eat.

TUESDAY, JULY 7TH:
“Climate Change in Rocky Intertidal Habitats Series: Ocean Acidification and its Effect on Shelled Organisms” at 11:00am
... Join Hannah on YouTube as she continues her series that explains some of the effects of human-induced climate change and processes occurring in rocky intertidal habitats.

FRIDAY, JULY 17TH:
“Bug Out with Bree: Buggin’ Out (with Grasshoppers)” at 12:00 noon
… Grasshoppers are a special insect belonging to the suborder Caelifera. They are among what is probably the most ancient living group of chewing herbivorous insects, dating back around 250 million years ago. Join us on YouTube as we discuss what makes them unique.
