The exceptional, educational and informative World Affairs Council Monterey Bay (WACMB) Discussion Group Series is now being held Online. The first meeting in this Virtual Environment will be held at 4:00pm on Monday, August 24th.

With introductory remarks by regionally-renowned Associate Professor, Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies Doctor Philipp C. Bleek from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and the theme of “Helping People Help Themselves”, this exciting Zoom Meeting will focus on the following topics:

How prepared were Governments in meeting COVID-19 expectations on behalf of their constituents?
Where do we stand in meeting the fundamental need to eradicate the virus and reinvigorate the economy?
How should we move forward?
