You are invited to celebrate the holidays with our 8th Annual Gingerbread Making Fundraiser for The Carmel Public Library Foundation with a Virtual Gingerbread making for the entire Family.
Create a gingerbread house at home and display throughout the holidays. Children will receive one gingerbread making kit and an individually wrapped to go cookie for a $25 donation to the Carmel Public Library Foundation as well as a special goodie bag.
The Gingerbread House decorating will take place virtually on Saturday, December 5th.
Each gingerbread house photo and or video will be entered into a drawing. The Winner will be selected at random to win a one-night stay, subject to availability, at the Hofsas House Hotel in a family suite and a $100 gift certificate for some fondue and family fun at Lugano’s Swiss Bistro. To qualify for the drawing you must submit a photo and or video by Saturday, December 5th at 4:00pm at the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
FEE TO ENTER:
The fee to enter is $25.00. This includes a gingerbread house and a cookie.
Reservations for a Gingerbread House must be made through EventBrite and pre-paid. Space is limited to fifty Gingerbread Houses.
GINGERBREAD HOUSE PICK-UP TIME AND LOCATION:
Pick up of Gingerbread Houses will be between 1:00pm and 4:00pm on Friday, December 4th. A pick-up time will be assigned when you purchase through EventBrite. The pick-up location is the Hofsas House at San Carlos and 4th Avenue, Carmel-by-the-Sea, lower parking lot by the Poolside.
All Gingerbread House participants will have their photos and videos displayed on the Hofsas House Hotel and Carmel Library Foundation Facebook Page and Instagram Page. A collage of photos and videos will be emailed to all that participated by end of the day on Monday, December 7th.
