The KAZU Salon Series brings donors face-to-face with the people who make public radio special. KAZU holds Salons approximately twice a year.
Join our KAZU Salon Club by making a contribution of $1000 (or $84 per month). As a salon member you will receive invitations for you and one guest to Salon Club Events via email and post.

The Fall 2019 Salon will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 and will feature NPR Correspondent Elise Hu. It will be held in Marina, CA.
Our Spring 2019 Salon was held Saturday, May 18, 2019 and featured Francis Lam, Host of The Splendid Table at Rancho Cielo in Salinas, CA.
Our Fall 2018 Salon featured Mandalit del Barco, NPR Arts and Cuture Reporter. It was held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the CSUMB Alumni & Visitors Center in Marina, CA.
Our Spring 2018 Salon was held on Thursday, May 11, 2018 and featured Glynn Washington, Creator of Snap Judgment at the UCSC Bhojwani Hall, Colleges Nine and Ten in Santa Cruz, CA.
Our Fall 2017 Salon was held Monday, November 6, 2017 and featured Lulu Garcia-Navarro, Host of Weekend Edition Sunday at the CSUMB Alumni & Visitors Center in Marina, CA.

Past Salons have included an evening with the staff of the StoryCorps mobile tour; dinner with The Splendid Table former host Lynne Rossetto-Kasper; a post-show reception with the cast of The Capitol Steps; a remarkable meal and conversation with The Kitchen Sisters; brunch with NPR correspondent Alex Chadwick and presentations by NPR correspondents Tom Gjelten, Robert Krulwich and John McChesney.
