Kellsy Panno

Station Director

Kellsy Panno serves as Station Director of 90.3 KAZU, leading the station’s operations, strategy, fundraising, programming, and community service.

Kellsy’s relationship with KAZU began nearly 20 years ago, when she joined the station as a student intern while attending California State University, Monterey Bay. She returned to KAZU in 2021 and has since held several leadership roles, including Director of Membership, Director of Business Operations, and Interim General Manager. She was named Station Director in 2026.

During a period of significant change for KAZU and public media, Kellsy helped guide the station’s move into its new Ryan Ranch studios, expand its local news and programming, and strengthen its connection with listeners throughout Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties.

Kellsy holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in economics from San José State University. She is committed to sustaining independent public media, trusted local journalism, and KAZU’s essential service to the Central Coast.
