KAZU News has won four Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards. Each year the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) awards the Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards to recognize work of the highest quality produced by radio, television and online news organizations around the world. "This year's winners represent the outstanding work being done in local newsrooms, which we are proud to recognize," said Mike Cavender, Executive Director of RTDNA.
KAZU won in the small market radio division, Region 2, which includes similar sized radio stations throughout California, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada. KAZU's winning entries now move on to the national competition.
