Pacific Grove, CA – You've heard her voice for years on NPR, reporting from London and across the Middle East - Baghdad, Jerusalem, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan, to name just a few places. In fact, NPR foreign correspondant Deborah Amos only spends about a hundred days at home each year. The rest of the time she's on the road.

This past weekend, Amos visited Monterey to do a couple of interviews at the Naval Postgraduate School for an upcoming story on the Iraqi insurgency. She stopped by the KAZU studios in Pacific Grove to discuss Iraq and the broader Middle East with KAZU's Ben Adler.
