MONTEREY COUNTY

Monterey County is reporting 1 new death from COVID-19 in the county. That brings the total number of fatalities to 12. Confirmed cases are currently at 949, and that marks an increase of 50 cases over a 24 hour period. 86 people have required hospitalization because of the coronavirus. 569 have recovered. 14,456 tests have been conducted.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY
6:30 p.m.
Santa Cruz County, is reporting, as of June 14, 257 known cases of COVID-19 in the county. That’s an increase of 2 cases since June 12. 34 people have required hospitalization and 11,214 negative lab test results have been recorded.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY
6:25 p.m.
Santa Clara County is reporting, as of June 14, 3,197 confirmed cases of COVID-19. A total of 151 people have died from the coronavirus. The county says this represents 43 new cases and 2 new deaths from their last report. 60 people are currently hospitalized, 20 in ICU. 102,848 tests have been conducted.
CALIFORNIA
6:20 p.m.
In California, as of June 13, there are 148,855 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 5,063 people have died from the coronavirus. That is a daily increase of 74 deaths and 3,212 cases. Local health departments have reported 12,173 confirmed positive cases in health care workers and 73 deaths statewide. There have been 2,801,996 tests conducted in California.
