The FBI is opening a federal domestic terorrism investigation into the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting suspect.

Preliminary findings from the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office show the shooter at the Gilroy Garlic Festival died of a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The gunman behind the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting likely acted alone. That’s the latest to come from the investigation into the mass shooting.  On Sunday, a 19-year-old gunman opened fire on a crowd at the festival.
