Weak Economy Creates Strong Market for Bad Debt

Rising unemployment and a sagging economy have sent consumer debt well over $700 billion. Debt-collection agencies are playing a bigger role than ever as individuals fail to meet their obligations. NPR's Steve Inskeep reports.
