Salinas, CA – At one point Wednesday afternoon, it felt like d j vu all over again. The Food and Drug Administration was holding a conference call discussing an E. coli outbreak and they were looking at leafy greens. Sure, it was lettuce, not spinach, but after the spinach outbreak earlier this year, you couldn't blame Salinas Valley growers for being a little bit on edge.
