Salinas, CA – Monterey County's only public hospital has been losing money for the last 20 years. Last year, Natividad Medical Center had a 20 million dollar deficit. County officials have turned to a consulting firm and the two other local hospitals for help. But the push for change has met with resistance. KAZU's Rachael McDonald has an update on efforts to help turn the Salinas hospital around.
