State budget impasse worries nursing home staff

Salinas, CA – California's state budget is almost two months overdue. Nursing homes, day cares and other agencies that receive state funding are scrambling to make ends meet. These agencies can't get their state money until the budget is passed. Pressure is mounting on one central California Republican to change his mind and approve the Democrat-written budget. KAZU's Rachael McDonald reports.
