Local musicians Flaco el Jandro and Gabi Bravo perform new song in the KAZU studio

We introduced you to Salinas musician Flaco el Jandro last month as he prepared to perform at npr's Tiny Desk concert at the Brick and Mortar in San Francisco.

In this follow-up interview, we find out how the Tiny Desk concert went and we get a live performance in the studio of his new single "Apaga la Luz [Turn Off the Lights]," a collaboration with Watsonville singer/songwriter Gabi Bravo.

They'll be performing the song this Saturday night, July 29th at the Blue Lagoon on Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz. They're opening for Tijuana indie rock band Ramona. Doors open at 7pm.
