Sign up through Cabrillo Arts Extension and join a three-day glass blowing retreat at Chris Johnson Glass in the historic Lundberg Studio in Davenport. Explore the history and science of this ancient craft, as well as hands-on studio sessions. Learn the fundamentals of working in a hot shop, the tools and traditions, how to select and apply colors, stretch and shape molten glass, and discover just what glass can do! You will work one-on-one with Chris, and have time to complete up to 6 finished pieces during class.

Explore Davenport’s spectacular bluffs, beaches, miles of hiking trails, farm stands, wineries, and surf spots in the morning before class, or just in time for dinner after class!
