This is a self-guided tour of modern and historic houses in Carmel, CA. A reception will follow the tour at First Murphy House, NW Corner, 6th Avenue & Lincoln Street, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. After purchasing the ticket on Eventbrite, please take your receipt to pick up the printed ticket/brochure at First Murphy House: Mon. through Sat., Sept 2 - 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and the day of the Tour, starting at 9:00 a.m. You may also purchase a ticket using a check or credit card at First Murphy House.
Note: the tour properties are not accessible to people who use a wheelchair, or other mobility or walking aides.
A color brochure highlighting Hugh Comstock’s life is free and available at First Murphy House and at a lecture titled, "Hugh Comstock: Builder of Dreams", presented by Brian Congleton, on Saturday, September 7, at 4:00 p.m., at the Carmel Foundation, Lincoln Street & 8th Avenue, Camel-by-the Sea. Admission is free, donations are encouraged.
