Join us at the 3rd Annual Salinas Juneteenth Celebration, Saturday June 17th at Hartnell College. This is a free, family-friendly event celebrating the liberation of enslaved African-Americans in 1865. Juneteenth, a newly recognized National holiday is an opportunity to highlight Black history, culture, food, music, businesses and community. Salinas’ Juneteenth will host kids activities, vendors and community partners. Come enjoy live performances, freedom fashion show and a memorable event. Freedom is a constant, yet beautiful struggle.
