Ami Carmel, a beloved boutique in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea, will host an evening of celebration, gratitude, and community connection on Monday, January 5, bringing together directors, staff, and board members from 13 nonprofit organizations across Monterey County.

The event will feature hosted refreshments, mingling, and Ami Carmel’s annual Check Presentation, recognizing local organizations for their continued service and community impact. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a celebratory photo moment with Ami’s signature oversized donation check.

“Our nonprofit community lifts this region in countless ways, and we are honored to celebrate the people and organizations who make such meaningful contributions,” said Annee, owner of Ami Carmel. “This event is our way of shining a light on their work and fostering deeper connection within the community we love.”

The evening’s schedule includes:

5:00 p.m. – Drinks, light refreshments, and community networking
6:00 p.m. – Formal Check Presentation and photo opportunities
A $50 gift certificate for those who RSVP and attend
20% off all purchases during the event
A meet-and-greet with participating nonprofit leaders
Marketing and press photo opportunities
Organizations represented at the celebration include Leadership Carmel, Housing for School Kids, AFRP, South Monterey County Animal Rescue, Meals on Wheels, Pancito y Café, Carmel Cares, Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, Carmel Woman’s Club, the Monterey County Film Commission, and several additional community partners.

Ami Carmel encourages nonprofit directors, staff, and board members to attend and to bring colleagues to share in the celebration.
