California Wildlife Day

California Wildlife Day
The Carmel River Watershed Conservancy and Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District (MPRPD) will celebrate California Wildlife Day on Sunday, March 26 at Palo Corona Regional Park in Carmel Valley. This year’s theme, “we are a part of nature, not apart from nature,” honors the rich and diverse wildlife throughout California.
Join us at Palo Corona Regional Park from 10:00am - 3:00pm for activities, exhibitor booths, speakers, guided walks, food for purchase, live music, and more. Presentations will include two incredible guests: Morgan Robertson, Wildlife Biologist and Environmental Scientist, and Antonio Balestreri, Master Falconer with a presentation on raptor ecology and conservation where you can meet native hawk, falcon, and owl species up-close.
This event is FREE to all — come spend the day learning and playing! For more information: https://cawildlifeday.net/cwd-2023-carmel-valley/
