Cinco de Mayo Festival
Cinco de Mayo Festival
Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Sunday, Sunday, May 5th, 11:00-5:30pm in downtown Watsonville. There will be free, live entertainment including traditional folkloric dance groups, mariachi, and three popular bands from Mexico. Main Street will be closed for dancing and to make room for arts and crafts, information tables and food booths that celebrate Mexican culture.
This family-friendly festival is an annual tradition that was started over 30 years ago by a small group of community volunteers. Today it has grown to attract thousands of people, gathering in the downtown Watsonville plaza to listen to music, see traditional performances, and enjoy delicious foods. This special community event will take place on Sunday, Sunday, May 5th, 11:00-5:30pm and is sponsored by Fiestas Patrias de Watsonville and made possible by local businesses and the City of Watsonville.
