Monterey, CA — Coastal Roots Hospitality is excited to announce that the Monterey Firefighters Community Foundation will be the beneficiary of the “Pick It Up — Pay It Forward” initiative for May and June 2025. This partnership continues Coastal Roots’ commitment to supporting local nonprofits, with 10% of every to-go order from Tarpy’s, Rio Grill, and Montrio donated to vital community organizations.
About the Monterey Firefighters Community Foundation
The Monterey Firefighters Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and strengthening the community through stewardship, education, and outreach. Their mission includes providing mental health support for first responders, offering fire prevention education, and organizing community events to foster public engagement. Upcoming initiatives include a Mental Health Workshop and Workout event on May 3, 2025, at The Lab in Monterey, aimed at enhancing firefighter wellness through physical training and mental health discussions .
