Enjoy a Movie Night at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History Museum in July
PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. — The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History will be taking visitors on an adventure with a special Museum Movie Night on Friday, July 21, from 6:00-8:00pm. This year’s movie will be 1995’s Jumanji, a popular Disney film starring Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunt, and Kirsten Dunst, with the screening taking place in the Museum’s Bird Gallery. Museum guests are welcome to use provided chairs or bring their own chairs, sleeping pads, or picnic blankets to enjoy the movie from.
“We have a really special night planned for everyone with a movie that is perfect for adults and families,” says Susan Wolfe, the Musuem’s Director of Development and Engagement, “Our bird gallery is a cozy and fun spot to watch from and has a big screen perfect for everyone to experience the excitement of Jumanji with. Even better, all profits from tickets and concessions directly support our collections, educational programming, and future community events. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a night out in Pacific Grove for a great cause!”
Tickets for the night include admission to the movie, a concession item, and a beverage, and are $10.00 for member adults, $5.00 for member children under 13, $15.00 for non-member adults, and $7.00 for non-member children under 13. Additional concessions will also be available for purchase, and all profits will go toward the work the Museum is doing around the community.

About the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History
In 1883, our museum opened its doors among the first wave of natural history museums in America. Naturalists of this era began a national tradition of hands-on science education and nature preservation, a tradition the Museum has continued for 140 years. The Museum’s mission is to inspire discovery, wonder, and stewardship of our natural world. It envisions a community of curious minds, engaged in discovering the natural heritage and cultural legacy that exist today on the Central California Coast. The Museum is a catalyst for conservation and a valued learning resource in this region, facilitating active inquiry for all ages. For more information visit www.pgmuseum.org.
