Everyone’s Harvest celebrates the May Opening of Two Markets, First In-Person Cooking Demo and National Salad Month
May 2022 will be an exciting month for Everyone’s Harvest Certified Farmers’ Markets. This includes the opening of two Farmers’ Markets in Salinas on May 13th and 18th, the hosting of the first In-person Cooking Demonstration at the Marina Market on May 29th, and the celebration of National Salad Month all month.
Everyone’s Harvest will open the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System (SVMHS) Certified Farmers’ Market on Friday, May 13th with hours every Friday from 12:30pm to 5:30pm. On Wednesday, May 18th, the Natividad Certified Farmers’ Market will open with hours every Wednesday from 11:00am to 3:30pm.
The Cooking Demo will be held Sunday, May 29th at the Marina Farmers’ Market at 215 Reservation Road, in Marina. Hours are 10:00am to 2:00pm. Details will be announced soon.
In addition, Everyone’s Harvest will celebrate May as National Salad Month by promoting the health benefits of salads and the availability of fresh and organic produce at its five markets in the community.
The SVMHS Certified Farmers’ Market is located at the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital at 450 E. Romie Lane in Salinas.
Free parking is available next to the SVMHS Market. The market can also be reached on MST Bus Route 18 and 20 via Salinas Transit Center. Exit the bus at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.
The market accepts EBT/WIC and conducts a Market Match program for EBT customers to increase their spending power. Ask about Market Match at the Information Booth at the market.
The Natividad Market is located at 1441 Constitution Bouvelard outside of Building 200, Outpatient Services, in North Salinas.
Free parking is available in the parking lot of Natividad Medical Center. The market can also be reached on MST Bus Route 41 and 95 via Salinas Transit Center. Exit the bus at Medical Center Drive and the hospital.
