Know what to do about Climate Change?
We will show you lots of actions you can take, large and small, that many groups will offer info at EVs and Sustainable Homes at the Climate Fest. Our family friendly event will feature an EV display with owners answering questions about benefits of driving electric, county's first demos of climate smart home appliances, induction cook top and space heat pump, plugged into, powered by, an F-150 Lightening Electric Truck; info on new and Used EVs and rebates to Electrify Your Ride and Your Home; solar cooking demo; kids climate science activities; how food choices affect climate; climate clothing re-do's with fashion shows; many groups offering information about how to take action in one's personal life.
Faith groups offering ways to care for one's climate anxiety, including Listening Sessions by the Zen Center. State Senator John Laird will speak at noon. Vegetarian and Pizza Food Trucks onsite.
