Esperanza Community Farms is pleased to present Civil Rights Activist Dolores Huerta at the Henry J. Mello Center for the Performing Arts in Watsonville on Saturday, August 12th at 4:00pm.
Huerta has spent decades championing the rights of Farmworkers, Women and the LGBTQ+ Community. She will be joined by Local Activists Mireya Gómez-Contreras, Co-Leader of Esperanza Community Farms, and Ann López, PhD, Executive Director of the Center for Farmworker Families. Their inspiriting & thought-provoking discussion will highlight & reinforce the importance of cultivating sustainable communities through organic farming and economic justice.
