History on Tap Dives into Tales of Point Pinos

History on Tap Dives into Tales of Point Pinos

Photo: A historic photo of the Point Pinos Lighthouse sits in the distance of our graphic.

Monterey County is rich in diverse histories and stories of people, places, cultures, and the environment. Often these elements intertwine to produce incredible, complex, and fascinating histories that can help us understand our present and improve our future. Host to the West Coast's oldest running lighthouse and considered one of the most beautiful areas on the California coast, Point Pinos Lighthouse and the land around it is steeped in local and wide-ranging history. On July 18th, we invite you to join us for a happy half-hour followed by an immersive storytelling experience about this local treasure with a fantastic panel of historians and educators Geva Arcanin, Bill Wolfe, and David Laws!
