Meet the Author: Laurie R. King - Presented by the Pacific Grove Public Library Friends and Foundation

Join us to hear the lively and humorous Laurie R. King, New York Times bestselling author of the Mary Russell-Sherlock Holmes stories, talk about her just published 18th book in the series titled: The Lantern’s Dance. Her series began with The Beekeeper’s Apprentice was named “One of the 20th Century’s Best Crime Novels”. Additional honors are: the Agatha, Anthony, Creasey, Edgar, Lambda, Macavity, Wolfe, and Romantic Times Career Achievement awards. She is a Baker Street Irregular and a Mystery Writers of America Grand Master.

Of her newest book, Publishers Weekly writes: “…[Holmes and Russell are] tangled up in a mystery involving kidnappers, a lost inheritance, and burning family secrets.
