The Monterey Peninsula Sunrise Rotary Club will present its 5th Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the YMCA of the Monterey Peninsula, 600 Camino El Estero at Webster Street in Monterey.
Back by popular demand, the annual fundraiser will feature some of the area’s top chili chef teams competing for fabulous prizes and bragging rights. Guests will enjoy an evening filled with live and silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle, wine tasting, games, prizes, and lively entertainment — all while supporting the Rotary Club’s mission of “Service Above Self.”

Proceeds from the Chili Cook-Off benefit the Monterey Peninsula Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Tax ID #27-4901059). Funds raised will support both local and international humanitarian projects. Locally, the Club provides scholarships for students, youth leadership programs, food security efforts, and community development initiatives. Globally, Rotary International continues to focus on polio eradication, access to clean water, health care, and education.
