On Saturday, July 4, 2026, thousands of spectators will celebrate the 250th anniversary of
the United States with the star-spangled excitement of creative floats, specialty performers,
and musical units. KSBW Action News 8’s anchors Erin Clark and Dan Green will be the
parade’s Grand Marshals and Monterey will welcome a 130 member drum and bugle corps!
This patriotic Independence Day parade will start at 10:00 AM sharp and is expected to take
approximately 60 minutes to pass a route through downtown Monterey along Alvarado
Street and wrap around to Calle Principal.
