NO KINGS: A Flag Day Rebellion for Democracy
In America, we don’t bow to kings. We don’t crown rulers. And we don’t let symbols of freedom become props for power.
This country began with a rebellion against a king. The Revolutionary War was fought to throw off inherited power, unaccountable rule, and the idea that any one man had a divine right to govern others. That spirit—no thrones, no crowns, no kings—is the foundation of our democracy.
On Saturday, June 14—Flag Day—we gather across the country for NO KINGS, a national day of peaceful action. Together, we’re rising up against authoritarianism, corruption, and the growing threats to the freedoms generations have fought to protect.
While the clowniest wannabe oligarch ever throws himself an obscenely expensive military parade in our nation’s capital—surrounded by spectacle, sycophants, and billionaires—WE THE PEOPLE will be highly visible—UNITED as one, demanding that the Constitution be upheld, the scourge REMOVED, the damage REVERSED, and OUR DEMOCRACY RECLAIMED.
We’ve seen what happens when ego replaces leadership, when cruelty is mistaken for strength, and when power is hoarded instead of shared. Enough is enough.
We’re responding with ridicule and humor. Joyful resistance that reflects the absurdity of this political moment and reclaims our country.
Our flag doesn’t belong to strongmen, parties, or movements. It belongs to us—the people. Just like it always has.
🚩 Bring your FLAGS—lots of flags. Big ones, messy ones, handmade ones. Let’s flood the public squares with what freedom really looks like. Your flag is your voice—let it fly. 🚩

The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump and his MAGA minions. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.
On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings. Check out nokings.org for more information.
A core principle behind all 50501 events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
