Santa Cruz County hosts the “Workforce Collaborative: Career Coach and Mapping Tool” Workshops on February 10th
Santa Cruz County will host the “Workforce Collaborative: Career Coach and Mapping Tool” Workshops on Thursday, February 10th. The workshops (one in English and one in Spanish) will cover the County’s free Monterey Bay Career Connect Website which will be followed by a demonstration of their Monterey Career Coach Tool.
Straff will walk participants through the process of how to take a short questionnaire career assessment and also how to browse careers and programs based on the results of the assessment as well as on searches if they have already determined the career they are interested in.
The Browsing Programs and Careers on the Website Session will include a description of the job or educational path, the skills and level of education that are necessary, average wages per region, links to local educational programs, as well as live job postings, etc.
Staff will also show participants how to access other resources to include “Resume Builder” and more.
