“Metamorphosis”: An experience that changes us; creations emerging from the transmutation of time, space and form take us into new worlds of fresh understanding. Through the concerts and conversations of the festival week, we travel through meditative darkness to the splendor of dawn; delve into illuminating reflections of heart, art and being; and arrive at a joyful celebration of the fruitfulness of harvest.

The fireworks of the 2025 Summerfest musicians’ performances will be stunning to behold. Adding to the power lineup of last year that includes Tanya Tomkins’ radiant sound, David Samuel’s articulate romanticism, and rising star Elena Ariza’s infectious energy, we have Sunny Yang, cellist for a decade with the renowned Kronos Quartet. With her superb versatility as a performer and educator, she helped shape some of the most important movements of music today, collaborating with leading artists and creators across a great swath of mediums and styles.
