The Henry Miller Library presents "Exploring the Literary and Cultural Legacy of Jaime DeAngulo: A presentation by Mary Kerr and Andrew Schelling."
Mary Kerr, author and personal friend of Jaime DeAngulo's daughter Gui, has published a new edition of The Old Coyote of Big Sur.Andrew Schelling is the author of "Tracks Along the Left Coast: Jaime de Angulo & Pacific Coast Culture."
Mary and Andrew are coming together to present a talk and lead a discussion about the life and work of 'our' legendary Jaime DeAngulo.
A towering figure in the literary and cultural landscape of Big Sur, Jaime was a writer and a neighbor of Henry Miller on Partington Ridge. DeAngulo's contributions to the world of literature, linguistics and particularly his insights into Native American culture have left an indelible mark.
