The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History hosts “Science Saturday - Bats, Spiders, and Snakes, Oh My!”
The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History hosts “Science Saturday - Bats, Spiders, and Snakes, Oh My!”
Join us in the Museum as we crawl and slither into the world of bats, spiders, and snakes on Saturday, October 30th from 10:00am to 3:00pm!
Learn more about bats from NorCalBats, a bat rescue dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of bats and public education of these incredible flying mammals. Discover local tarantulas and spiders as a Carmel teacher gives us a closer look at his live collection. We’ll also be joined by Slithering Science's live snakes and other reptiles as they join us for our DSS Live at 3:00pm. Learn about these amazing animals and their importance in our ecosystem.
Don't miss this opportunity to meet a live animal up close, take home a creepy craft, and more. Also be ready for a messy pumpkin craft!
Masks are required at this event.
The Pacific Grove Musuem of Natural History is located at 165 Forest Avenue, Pacific Grove, CA, 93950.
