Eight tiny home units (four pictured) were delivered to the Westview Presbyterian Church parking lot on July 29, 2025.

In today's newscast, the first 8 units for an interim housing project in Watsonville known as the "tiny village" were delivered this week. Plus, former Vice President Kamala Harris declined a gubernatorial run.

Correction: There is an error in the audio during the segment about Kamala Harris. The line "Harris ally Laphonza Butler, who served out the rest of Harris’s term in the U.S. Senate when she became vice president..." is inaccurate—Laphonza Butler actually served out the rest of the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein's term after her death.
