Santa Cruz residents took turns reading from a list of names of children killed in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023.

In today's newscast, a day of mourning in Santa Cruz for the thousands of children who have been killed in Gaza over the last two years. And, Monday marks 60 years since the Delano grape strike began in the Central Valley.

Elena is an Emmy award-winning researcher, reporter, and producer. Before joining KAZU, they worked as a podcast producer at The Oregonian.
