Nearly 1,300 volunteers collect trash around the Central Coast for annual cleanup day

Save Our Shores has hosted annual coastal cleanups on the Central Coast for 41 years.

In today's newscast, almost 1,300 volunteers collected trash from beaches, rivers and parks over the weekend in 58 local cleanups organized by the nonprofit Save Our Shores.
