On Wednesday, March 24, KAZU’s News Director, Erika Mahoney, spoke about the absolutely heartbreaking loss of her father Kevin Mahoney on NPR’s Morning Edition.
He was one of ten people killed in Monday's shooting at a King Soopers Grocery Store in Boulder, Colorado.
Kevin was a Dad to the entire neighborhood, Erika said.

The KAZU family is absolutely devastated by the news and offers our heartfelt condolences to Erika and the entire Mahoney family during this incredibly difficult time.
The Mahoney family have directed community members, who have graciously asked how to support Erika’s family at this time, to the Boulder Office Of Emergency Management where there is a list of verified charitable funds for victim support.
