Led by 2020 Grammy Award-winning Music Director and Conductor Cristian M?celaru, Cabrillo Festival remains all about “music of our time, for our time.” It is our aim to capture some of that famous Festival magic—a sense of gathering and discovery—as we present a special mix of archival recordings; intimate, behind-the-scenes conversations; and brand-new musical adventures for you to enjoy. Over two full weeks we’ll explore bold ideas in music, culture, and society, culminating with a world premiere orchestral commission, featuring members of the award-winning Cabrillo Festival Orchestra recorded from their homes around the world.
