Audubon's Bird Book Won't Sell For Chicken Feed
John James Audubon's great work, The Birds Of America, goes on sale Friday at Christie's Auction House. The giant pages of the four-volume set are filled with life-size images of Carolina parakeets, Great Blue Herons and other bird species. Only 120 complete sets are believed to exist. The last one sold for more than $11 million.

Swedish Furniture Maker IKEA Posts Record Profits
The largest furniture maker in the world is ending the week with a bang. Sweden's IKEA posted a record profit for its 2010, 2011 fiscal year. Net profit was up more than 10 percent to $3.8 billion. The company saw its biggest gains in China, Russia and Poland.

Report: Killings Of U.S., Allied Troops By Afghan Soldiers Is On The Rise
Four French troops were killed today by a member of the Afghan National Army. The New York Times says there have been dozens of such attacks since 2007. Also today, six U.S. Marines died in a helicopter crash. The cause of the crash isn't known.
