Each year, the Radio Television Digital News Association honors outstanding achievements in electronic journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards. In small market radio, region two (California, Guam, Hawaii & Nevada), KAZU's News Director Krista Almanzan won awards for Audio News Series and Audio Sports Reporting.
