The Santa Cruz Regional Transportation Commission is going to discuss strategies to preserve the North County rail corridor at its meeting Thursday morning. They include a contentious option that Roaring Camp Railroads says threatens its business.

The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission's meeting is scheduled for Feb. 3 at 9 a.m. The meeting will include an informational session discussing possible options for North County's rail lines, including railbanking via abandonment. The meeting will not include a vote or decision on the issue.

You can attend the remote meeting via Zoom. Here is the agenda.
