The Buddhist Temple of the Monterey Peninsula hosts the 77th Annual Obon Festival Event on Sunday, July 12th.

The Festival includes the following:
• Japanese Food
• Entertainment
• Ikebana and Bonsai Exhibits
• Children’s Games
• Japanese Goods and Crafts for sale

Outstanding Food Choices include:
• Tempura
• Sushi
• Beef Teriyaki
• Udon
• Gyoza

Day-long Entertainment features Martial Arts Demonstrations and a Tea Ceremony. The event will also include an exceptional performance of Taiko Drumming. The colorful Bon Odori, or Community Japanese Folk Dancing, takes place later that afternoon.
