Arturo Aquino is a Mexican pianist born in Ocozocoautla, Chiapas in1975, he has been immersed in music since childhood and began his professional career as a teenager. He specializes in Mexican and Latin American popular repertoire, while also composing original works.
Throughout his career, he has performed concerts across Mexico and toured extensively in Europe, North America, and Central America. Aquino has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Consuelo Velázquez, Roberto Cantoral, Pepe Jara, and Armando Manzanero- the latter of whom produced one of his albums and famously referred to him as “El Piano de México”. This title later became the name of his fifth album, released in 2023.
