This four-day international competition will feature filmmakers from around the world showcasing their movies, celebrities, red carpet photography, and one of the most innovative features of any festival around the world, The Carmel International Film Festival Immersive Cinema Room, featuring breathtaking immersive images that celebrate the local film and artistic history of the Monterey Peninsula.
This year, major celebrity guests and a fundraiser in partnership with actor/filmmakers Mark Duplass and Katie Aselton's THE SOUL POINTS FUND will be featured to raise relief funds for those still affected by the recent LA Wildfires. The fundraiser will also receive a portion of the sale of a rare Marey/Demeny movie camera, from circa 1895, which will be auctioned off in conjunction with this year's film festival
