The Ben Lomond Village Alliance invites the community to come together for a fun evening of Contra Dancing at Park Hall on Friday, November 13th, 2026. The event welcomes dancers of all ages and skill levels, from first-time participants to seasoned contra dancers. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with a brief instruction lesson from 7-7:30pm and dancing from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. with live music by Against the Grain with caller Cheryl Graubart, with easy-to-learn dances, and a welcoming community to make for a great night out. No partner or experience needed, just comfortable shoes and a willingness to have fun!!
Admission is $10, with tickets available online and at the door. Sodas and snacks will be available by donation.
The Contra Dance is part of the Ben Lomond Village Alliance's ongoing efforts to create opportunities for neighbors to gather, making Ben Lomond a fun, vibrant place to live. "Dancing is a fun way to build community, “ said Ariel Young, Social Committee Chair. "Everyone is invited to come out, meet new people, and enjoy a wonderful evening at Ben Lomond's historic gathering place, Park Hall Community Center."
