Cypress Inn to Toast National Dog Day with "Paws & Pour at the Inn" Celebration Benefiting the Doris Day Animal Foundation

Cypress Inn, the iconic pet-friendly boutique hotel co-founded by legendary actress and animal advocate Doris Day, invites guests and their four-legged companions to celebrate National Dog Day during "Paws & Pour at the Inn" on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Held in the hotel's beautiful courtyard and Terry's Restaurant + Lounge, the festive evening will feature handcrafted Tito's Handmade Vodka cocktails, dog-friendly fun, giveaways, and support for a meaningful cause. A portion of the celebration will benefit the Doris Day Animal Foundation, continuing the Inn's longstanding commitment to animal welfare.

Established in 2004 by animal behaviorist Colleen Paige, National Dog Day raises awareness about pet adoption, responsible pet ownership, animal abuse prevention, and organizations dedicated to improving the lives of dogs.
